Snacking On The Go with Gone Rogue

March 10, 2021 by Melissa Rifkin Nutrition

Motherhood is so incredibly rewarding, and I love watching my little Max grow, develop and mature. One aspect of mom life I didn’t expect to be so challenging is making time for proper meals and snacks for myself. I found myself prioritizing Max, my work, getting some form of activity and filling in food when I could, which didn’t always lead to the most well-balanced plate. While crackers, fruit and nuts are easy to grab and perfectly good snacks, I realized I didn’t have many go-to protein options to quickly use on the run. Many require prep, like boiling eggs, and others don’t feel quite as portable, like a container of Greek yogurt or cottage cheese. I have been on the hunt to find quick proteins when I need to grab and go, and found an AMAZING option.

Gone Rogue High Protein Chicken Chips has become a staple protein for my snacks, and even some meals. They are super convenient (literally just grab a bag and you’re good to go!), high in protein, and low in carb and sugar. We all know protein is great for muscle development, but did you know it also helps provide sustained energy? The breakdown of protein in your body tends to be slower than other nutrients, like carb, with little to no impact on your blood sugar. When the sugar amount in your blood stays stable, your energy typically stays more stable, too. Stable energy = attacking your daily tasks and to-do list with vigor and zest!

With 17+ grams of protein, Gone Rogue fits perfectly into snack time! Here are some of my favorite pairings to enjoy Gone Rogue Chips:

  • With a fresh piece of fruit to pack a balance of protein and carb
  • Dipped with hummus for a flavor-packed snack
  • Alongside some nuts for a low-carb option
  • Paired with a handful of raw veggies for a vitamin boost

There are truly so many ways to “snack at your level” with Gone Rogue! Flavorful, filling and packed with crunch, they can be enjoyed as a stand-alone snack or paired with any of your favorite items for a higher volume snack or meal.
