Kelsey is my Texas-based dietitian here at Melissa Rifkin Nutrition, and just as passionate in nutrition as I am. A Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, Kelsey’s interest in nutrition began after meeting with a dietitian as a high school swimmer and carried her through her collegiate swimming career. Upon graduation, Kelsey transitioned to marathons and triathlons.
In addition to creating educational content and meal plans for our clients at Melissa Rifkin Nutrition, Kelsey is also a professor of nutrition and works in private practice with active adults and teens from many different sports and competitive levels.
Deanna, originally from the Chicago area, is a dietitian here at Melissa Rifkin Nutrition. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University, where she studied food, nutrition, and dietetics. Deanna then pursued her master’s degree at Rush University, where she also completed her dietetic internship. During her internship, she took a special interest in pediatrics. Other areas of Deanna’s focus include mindful eating, disease-specific nutrition, weight loss education, and sports nutrition. Deanna has a passion for using food as a form of medicine to help her clients develop a positive relationship and mindset with food.
Deanna currently creates nutrition content for Melissa Rifkin Nutrition. In addition, she works as a clinical dietitian in a hospital where she provides diet education, nutrition support, and much more. She hopes to expand her passion by working with clients at Melissa Rifkin Nutrition as a nutrition coach!
