"It's hard to put into words what an amazing experience I've had with Melissa over the past two years. I had struggled with weight and body image my entire life and was worried that would never change. I started weight loss coaching with Melissa in January 2016 and in the first few months learned more about nutrition, fitness, and taking care of myself than I had ever imagined possible - and in less than a year I had lost 60 lbs! After moving in with my boyfriend a few months ago I found myself falling back into bad habits and suddenly I had gained 20 lbs. "For the majority of my adult life I have been a fad dieter, using diet pills and awful tasting shakes to lose weight. You have taught me to take care of my mind, as that is the biggest influencer in becoming healthy. I started following you because I wanted to feel good about myself. When I looked at pictures of myself, I hated the way I looked. It wasn’t just about losing weight, I knew I needed a lifestyle change.

When I got married in 2016 I was at my lowest weight, 133 lbs. I was crash dieting, exercising incessantly, and taking diet pills. All very unhealthy practices. Once I stopped doing all of those things the weight crept back on. I felt bloated and gross, and really disliked myself. You were the catalyst of change for me. Watching your videos have inspired me to start an exercise routine. I even ran 3 miles at the gym on vacation!! The old Jeanette would have never, ever, in a million years even think of doing this! I honestly can’t thank you enough for how you’ve helped me. You’ve helped me more on the inside, and to me that’s what matters most. My entire mind set regarding food has changed. I now eat because I want to fuel my body and be a strong woman. Don’t get me wrong, I still have ice cream cravings!

"On my constant search to find the ultimate advice page on healthy eating, clean eating, nutrition, weight loss, all of the above. I started following Confessionofadietitian on IG .Melissa Rifkin truly grabs you with her original posts about nutrition, which made it look all so simple. I was actually copying her sample plate posts before I even asked for a two week meal plan. Eight weeks ago, I started my first meal plan, and I haven’t looked back since. The plans are easy to follow, the meals do not need a vast list of complicated ingredients. She has factored in your cheat meal during the week, which is amazing because you don’t have the guilt of ‘cheating’ the next day. You just carry on.

Finally, the stress and negativity of food have disappeared, and I have time on my hands. I have stopped searching for diet advice, stopped spending countless hours wondering what I should eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have stopped ordering numerous diet books. So many wasted hours.

The best part is that Melissa and Kelsey are friendly and accessible to you. Your questions will always be answered. I plan to continue with my meal plans for as long as I can. I know will reach my goal and that I am good hands.
