Festive Christmas Cookies with Red & Green M&M's
Soft and chewy Christmas cookies with festive red & green M&M'- easy to bake, perfect for gifting, and loved by all!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup applesauce unsweetend
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup M&M's holiday colors
Instructions
- 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a stand mixer, beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, applesauce, and vanilla until smooth.
- Next, mix in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Make sure everything is well combined.
- Lastly, fold in chocolate chips and m&m’s.
- Take 2 tablespoons worth of cookie dough and roll into balls. Place cookie dough balls on lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
