Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie Bars

- 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp Butter softened
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1.25 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Pecan Pie Filling
- 3 Eggs
- 3/4 cup Corn syrup light
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups Pecans chopped
Heat oven to 350°F. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or tin foil.
With an electric mixer, beat softened butter with brown sugar, flour, and salt until mixture forms coarse crumbs.
Pour crumb mixture into lined baking pan and press mixture into bottom of the pan.
Bake crust for 25-30 minutes, or until lightly brown. Allow to cool for 10 minutes once out of the oven.
In a large bowl, combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, and melted butter. Add in chocolate chips and pecans.
Spread mixture over baked crust, and bake again for an additional 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
