overnight oats

No Fuss Breakfast: Overnight Oats

All meals are important but a nutritious breakfast is a fabulous way to start the day.  Breakfast is literally about breaking the fast and giving your body energy to take on the day . One of my go to breakfasts is overnight oats because I throw everything in a glass container the night  before and I wake up to a delicious, flavorful breakfast with all the macronutrients!  Complex carbs from oats and blueberries, protein from milk, yogurt, chia and peanut  butter, and healthy fats from the pb and chia seeds 


1 cup oats

1 cup milk

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1 Tbsp chia seeds

1 Tbsp peanut butter, or nut butter of choice

Liquid stevia to taste

1/2 cup blueberries, or fruit of choice


Combine oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, nut butter, and a few drops of liquid stevia. Throw in the fridge overnight. Heat or enjoy cold and top with blueberries. Enjoy!
